Job Description

I have a brand new opening for a DEPUTY MANAGER to join an established, person centred domiciliary care provider in the Birmingham area.

This is an exciting time for this developing organisation who have recently received a gold award for investors in people and holds a good CQC report, as they are looking for a skilled deputy to compliment the existing, professional management team.

My client offers a unique home care service, focusing on supporting individuals with complex care needs including acquired brain injuries to be as independent as possible and remain within the comfort of their own homes.


Working closely with the care manager, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality care in line with both company and CQC guidelines and actively manage a team of staff. You will have a "can do" attitude, be able to delegate effectively and lead by example at all times. You will be a manager of the future and be able to demonstrate effective management and deputise for the manager in their absence. You will be part of the "on call" rota which is shared amongst the staff team.

I am looking for applications from candidates who have a proven background within the domiciliary care sector and are competent in working within a busy office, overseeing a large number of care hours. You will already be a highly skilled care coordinator looking for the next step or a deputy manager who would like to utilise their extensive knowledge within another domiciliary care provision.

You will hold the QCF level 3 in health and social care or above, have a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and be flexible to share the "on call" rota.

In return for your extensive skills and experience, you will be rewarded with an annual salary of £25000 per annum dependent on experience, a competitive annual leave allowance, and ongoing personal and professional development.
