Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a deputy care manager for a large national provider of home healthcare. Working from their central office, you will work closely with an established registered manager to deliver high-quality person-centred support packages.

You will assist with managing and supporting a team of office consultants, care coordinators and care assistants and report directly into the registered manager and the area manager. You will maintain and ensure all quality measures are met in the field in accordance with company and CQC guidelines, including assisting with regular monitoring and reviews of care packages and the development of personal centred Risk and Needs assessment, Care Plans and any other required assessments. Your aim will be to deliver a service that has a focused person-centred ethos and champions choice and independence.

As with all deputy manager job roles, you will share the "on call" rota with other service managers.

I am looking for a person centred, professional and motivated deputy manager who is willing to go the extra mile for the people in their care. You will embrace modern, person centred care practices and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

To be considered for this unique deputy manager opportunity, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background within learning disabilities care and support, ideally across supported living and community care settings. You will suitably qualified to NVQ 3 in health and social care and your CQC knowledge and experience will be extensive. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Your extensive knowledge, skills and experience will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary up to £26000 to £32000 per annum dependent on experience. You will also receive continued training and development, benefit from genuine internal progression opportunities and a generous annual leave allowance.
