Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for their supported living service in East London. This is a permanent, full-time position paying £28,000 - £33,000.

About the job

You will share our passion for putting the needs and well-being of the people we support first, finding new ways to enrich their lives and delivering outstanding customer care for them and their relatives with the focus on enabling people to flourish.
You will support the Registered Manager/Service Manager, taking leadership roles in some areas of management of our services which include service development, communications and effectively managing finance/budget.
You will provide inspiring leadership to the staff team, guiding the implementation of our vision, mission and values into operational practice.
You will deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
Accept responsibility and be accountable for day-to-day activities and provide an example for others, create an open and positive environment.

About you

  • The ideal candidate will have 2- 3 years of experienced working as Deputy Manager in a supported living setting.
  • You will have strong understanding and working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspections.
  • You will have a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care and have or be willing to work towards your NVQ level 5.
  • The ideal candidate will be confident, assertive and will have strong leadership skills with the ability to read people.
  • You will have experience working with challenging behaviours, vulnerable adults, autism and mental health difficulties.


Requirements

  • NVQ level 3
  • NVQ level 5 (ideal)
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Strong Team Leader experience looking to step up.
  • Must have CQC understanding and working knowledge.



Salaray Range
Paying, £28,000 - £33,000
