I have an exciting opportunity for a deputy manager to join a unique supported living service specialising in care and support for adults with learning disabilities, in the Stoke on Trent area.
The successful candidate will work closely with the registered manager to ensure person centred care and support is delivered, whilst quality and compliance is maintained. You will be actively involved in managing a sizeable staff team, as well as delivering direct care and support. As deputy manager, your time will be split between supernumerary and hands on care and support.
To apply for this vacancy you will have a proven background supporting adults with learning disabilities, have held responsibility within a senior or deputy manager capacity and have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern. NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent is preferred, however, applications are welcome from candidates who hold an equivalent qualification. Due to the location of this service, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial.
