Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a deputy manager to join a leading national provider of residential childcare and education, within one of their specialised children's settings in Stoke on Trent.

You will join an organisation who values the young people they support and actively promotes education and independence.

As a deputy manager, you will receive investment from your employer to develop and progress and will become a valued member of the management team.

Employed on a full time, permanent basis, you will work closely with the registered manager to deliver person centred, high quality care and support. In their absence, you will be responsible for the full running of the service.

Leading and managing a diverse staff team, working directly to support the young people who reside here and ensuring the people you support meet the optimum outcomes through working with external agencies are essential requirements of your deputy manager role.

This is the ideal opportunity for a skilled senior or team leader who can demonstrate a proven background within children's residential care and is looking for the next step on their career ladder.

To be considered for the deputy manager role, you must:
* Hold the level 3 in health and social care for children and young people
* Be able to demonstrate shift and team leading experience
* Have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, to include sleep ins and on call

In return, you will receive a generous hourly rate up tp £12.00 per hour depending on your relevant skills, qualifications and experience, competitive sleep in allowance and other generous benefits such as healthcare support, continued development and training, high street discounts and other generous benefits.

To avoid missing out on this exciting opportunity, please forward you CV via email or apply online today.
