Job Description

An excellent opportunity has just arisen to join an independent, highly rated organisation as a Deputy Manager for a Childrens residential home.

You will join an incredibly supportive and caring organisation, working closely with the registered manager to provide a safe, homely, supportive and personalised environment to children with emotional and behavioural needs. You will provide guidance and advice to the team of support workers, and will take the lead in challenging situations, supporting your team as needed. You will provide support to the children, including emotional support, day to day care and guidance, as well as supporting them to enjoy a whole range of activities in the community.

You will be an experienced childrens residential practitioner, with experience at Senior Support Worker level or above. You will also have a Level 3 Children and Young people qualification and will be a driver with your own vehicle.
You will work to a shift rota which will include regular sleep-ins. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £27,000 + sleep-ins, bringing potential earnings to around £32,000.
