Job Description

An exciting deputy manager opportunity has become available within an established and homely setting for adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.

Employed on a full time basis, you will become a respected member of a national provider who has a strong history in the delivery of person centred care for adults with learning disabilities, complex behaviours and mental health diagnoses. Some of the people who you support, may be from a forensic background.

You will work closely with a competent and professional registered manager to promote choice, dignity and independence for the people who reside here.

Person centred care planning, staff management and supervisions, as well as liaising with external agencies and maintaining an environment that is safe and healthy, will form part of your deputy manager role.

In the absence of the home manager, you will take the lead in all operational responsibilities of the home.

Due to the nature of this role, you MUST be flexible to share the on call rota and work an occasional weekend, as required.

A forward thinking, passionate professional individual, you will be committed to going the extra mile for the people you support, as well as sharing the drive and enthusiasm for personal and professional development.

This is the ideal opportunity for a skilled and experienced senior support worker or team leader who is looking to secure their first managerial role and can demonstrate a significant background supporting adults with learning disabilities.

You will hold a minimum of level 4 in health and social care and be committed to securing your level 5.

In return for you extensive knowledge and experience, you will receive a generous salary, on going training and development and access to other exciting benefits.

For immediate consideration, please apply online today or forward your CV via email.
