I am recruiting for one of the largest social care charities in the UK and they are looking for an interim Deputy Manager to support people with autism.
You will be working an amazing team of Key Workers in who's focus is to enable the guys they support to live the best life they can. You'll be key in galvanising the staffs day to day work and focus.
You'll have experience at Senior Support Worker level or Deputy Management experience already. If you have experience with autism, even better! If not, you'll have fantastic training that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.
This post is for a full-time contract and is interim for 6-9 months.
You'll be working with autistic adults and their families with the objective of enabling each person to live independently and to achieve their goals. Each person has a support plan and activity plan which promotes their community involvement and engagement, it is based on their individual support needs and abilities.
In your role as a Deputy Manager you will be promoting and demonstrating excellent care and support for the people you'll be supporting.
You'll also be involved with supporting the Registered Manager to ensure individuals achieve those everyday breakthroughs and compliance to CQC standards.
What will you need?
You'll need to be resilient, supportive and able to motivate a team.
You'll have a working knowledge of care standards and related legislation
Be good at report writing.
A DBS will need to be completed, if you have one on the update service, even better!
Experience at Senior Support or Deputy Manager level.

Salary £18250 - £26000 (per year), depending on experience,

The job is a full time and will be varied over a seven-day rota and would include alternate weekends and bank holidays.
