Role Purpose:
Managing day to day service delivery and providing direct employment support to Service Users. This is a front line management role, with responsibility for the day to day management of service contracts, Service User support, staff and building maintenance.

We`re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to work closely with the Registered Manager and manage the day-to-day running of a CQC registered service in Halifax.

This is a well-established registered care home providing 24 hour nursing care to up to 17 people. Following a recent CQC inspection that raised some operational issues, we are taking positive steps to address them.

Whether you`re carrying out medication audits, doing an induction, undertaking an investigation, putting team development plans in place or providing support to our business development team, one thing`s for sure - you won`t be short of challenge and variety.
As well as substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, you will have a significant understanding of Mental Health issues.

About You-
Outcome driven and able to lead by example using your firm but inclusive management style.
Open and encouraging too, and have lots of tact and diplomacy.
Great at managing conflicting priorities on time,
Have a flexible attitude to working hours and are willing to participate in on call arrangements.
Experience of carrying out investigations, writing reports/recommendations or managing budgets, even better, although again, it`s not essential.

Benefits-
25 days holiday per annum, plus statutory Bank Holidays, or time off in lieu if worked. Annual leave is increased to 28 days after two year`s continuous employment
Non-contributory life assurance policy (to value of 3 x annual salary).
