Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a deputy manager to join a leading organisation specialising in the provision of care and support for adults experiencing mental ill health.

You will work closely with your registered manager to oversee the delivery of person centred care and support for two small units (one residential, the other respite) for adults with a mental health diagnosis on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre.

A committed, care focused individual who has excellent communication skills and a proven background within a senior/team leader role in either mental health or supported living services, you will also hold the NVQ 3 in health and social care and have flexibility to work a varied shift pattern. You will have broad experience of working within CQC guidelines and be able to demonstrate positive leadership and management within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will be a calm, motivated and positive individual who has excellent interpersonal and written skills. Within this role, you will be required to build effective relationships with both clients and team members, act as a key worker and deliver medication effectively. Your time will be split between supernumerary support and also, hands on care.
