Deputy Manager - Residential Children's Home

£21,384 (OTE £27,451)

We are working in partnership with a client based in Bridgwater. They have a 2 bed children's home and are looking to employ a Deputy Manager working with children aged up to the age of 18 who have complex needs.

As a Deputy manager, you'll be based within the home to support the staff team and young people in the provision of a stable, structured, and therapeutic environment. You will work closely with the manager to ensure that the staff team fulfil their roles effectively. You will take the lead on shift to ensure that the values of organisation are embodied in the day-to-day work, ensuring the effective implementation of care plans and person-centred care.

It is essential that you are a supportive, driven person who displays patience, kindness, and leadership skills that enable you to role model a passion for empowering young people to achieve their full potential.

This is a full time role working 2 days on, a 16-hour shift per day, including sleep-ins, then 4 days off. (167 hours a month)

What we are looking for in a candidate;
o You must hold a full UK driving license
o o Must be 21 years old or over
o o Level 3 in children's and young people's workforce (essential)
o o 2 years' experience working in a residential children's home
