An exciting opportunity has become available for a deputy manager to oversee the day to day running of supported living services, in and around the Sandwell, Oldbury and West Bromwich areas, supporting adults adults with learning disabilities, predominantly an Autism diagnosis and challenging behaviour.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will actively promote dignity and independence amongst the people in your care the provision of education and employment support. You will play a key role in care planning, report writing and administering medication, and will be required to attend staff meetings and all training provided.
You will become a key member of the management team for an established and well-respected care provider who has a great reputation with CQC.
Managing and securing referrals, delivering care in line with both company and CQC guidelines, staff management and training, plus recruitment and finance management will all form a crucial part of your managerial role.
To be consider you must have a strong background in care,preferably in learning disabilities. You must be either a deputy manager or a strong team leader. Have you NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care and either have or be working towards your Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
For your ongoing commitment you can expect a salary of £22,000 to £24,000. A pension package and holiday allowance.
