Our client based in Penkridge, Staffordshire are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager that have proven experience of working with children with learning disabilities. This exciting opportunity will be based at a new care home joining their current experienced staff team in this exciting period of expansion and a new independent co-educational special school in which the successful applicant will provide a learning and supportive environment for young people with social, emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.

The care home will be offering placements to 6 young people and the school will offer education for up to 16 young people aged 8 to 19, with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with verified experience and currently working with children. You will hold a minimum of a QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People, or a Registered Nurse with Learning Disabilities qualification.

On joining them, you can expect a three-week comprehensive, industry-leading induction programme and will ensure you benefit from a comprehensive training plan, professional supervision, and clear routes for career progression.

This position will predominantly work office hours, Monday to Friday. In addition, the successful candidate will be part of the on-call rota, so may have to work weekends and unsociable hours when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,700.00-£30,545.00 per year
