Job Description

I am seeking experienced staff who have experience in :-

o Living, working or volunteering with both male and female victims of domestic abuse
o risk management, needs led assessment and support planning for those involved
o Homelessness legislation and welfare benefits/welfare.
o working effectively in partnership with others if this sounds like you then I would love to hear from you
o Providing excellent communication and mediation for victims to services crucial to the improvement of their progress.



This client needs staff to be proactive and become a vital part of a team that provide both practical and emotional support to women, men and children that experience domestic abuse across the area.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the causes and effects of domestic abuse, and the barriers that our service users face when accessing services. You will use a person based approach to create safety plans with service users, help with benefit claims and complete any referrals to relevant agencies.

You will need to have a minimum of 12 months experience, have a caring and understanding nature and ensure you maintain confidentiality and follow all up to date rules and legalisation.

Salary is between £8.50 - £9.00 an hour and hours will be between 15-30 hours a week.
