Job Description

I am currently recruiting for Early Intervention Support Worker to work for a large charity that specializes in Mental Health and Recovery. You will help support people on a one-to-one basis in the office and in the community as they work towards a healthy mental wellbeing, life skills, greater independence and self-esteem.

The role will consist of understanding of the harms caused by alcohol and drug use to individuals, young people, children, families and society. You will provide advice, support, advocacy and key work for recovery plans and undertake elements of assessment and case management as directed. Deliver brief interventions, market the service within the community, raise awareness and build up referral pathways

Your general day to day duties will consist of;

- Devising and delivering support plans, working closely with other agencies to help understand and support your clients.
-You will develop links and make referrer pathways with a range of agencies such as DWP, accommodation services, police and NHS England.
-You will also create and deliver recovery led workshops in the community.

To be suitable for this role you must have experience in Mental Health or social care or have personal experience. Have fantastic communication skills both spoken and written and be able to take notes and keep casefiles up to date. If you have a degree in psychology, then that`s a BIG bonus. This is an entry level role for grad students. The salary reflects this for your first 12 months at £17,550
