Job Description
We have an exciting new job opportunity for an Executive Officer to join one of our Government clients in London. The pay rate is £11.01 an hour, it will be a temporary assignment for approximately 3 months, Monday to Friday; hybrid working (some attendance in-office would be expected) - London, SW1P 4DR.
Your role will be to ensure the smooth delivery of business support processes for the directorate, ensuring that day-to-day requests are being processed and followed up on, to support a driven, busy and high performing communications team which includes colleagues across the executive, marketing, digital, publishing, press office, strategic communications and external affairs functions.
Duties and responsibilities
" Work closely with the Business Support Manager and wider team to ensure the seamless day-to-day operation of business support to Group Communications.
" Respond to requests in a timely manner and be able to communicate with customers across Group Communications to provide updates and seek further information as needed to fulfil requests.
" Help deliver the new staff, leavers and changes process, maintaining core lists, charts and plans for management and related actions.
" Coordinate the provision of IT equipment, systems and user accounts to Group Communications staff from corporate services and other suppliers.
" Raise purchase orders and advise colleagues on purchase to pay system and procedures.
" Maintain a flexible approach and be willing to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the business.
