Judicial Pensions Data Caseworker - EO Band D - Ministry of Justice

Fixed term contract starting at 6 months, with a view to extend. Hybrid role, 2 days in MOJ office (multiple locations), 3 days working from home. Successful candidates will combine strong Excel ability with excellent attention to detail.

Role Purpose

To deliver judges' pension records and related work considering the McCloud, O'Brien and Miller litigation. Successful candidates will combine strong Excel ability with excellent attention to detail.

Delivery of all aspects of the Judicial Pensions Reform Programme and ongoing provision of high-quality pension services. Tackle judicial recruitment and retention issues, support court recovery and the strategic objective of delivering swift access to justice.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be required to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Produce individual pension records based on multiple data sources.
  • Process other forms of judicial data as required to achieve correct and complete records.
  • Review data and correspondence to ascertain the basis for existing records.
  • Present information clearly and transparently.
  • Check own and others' work rigorously.

Hybrid Working

Candidates will be expected to attend the office at their base location at least 2 days per week and meet their own travel costs to and from their base location. If required to attend a location other than their base location, post-holders may be entitled to claim some or all any extra expense (beyond the usual base location travel costs) in line with the T&S policy.

  • 5 Wellington Place, Leeds

This is a full-time role. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Rate of pay is set at £15.36 per hour, which will be paid by BACS payment every Friday. Brook Street will automatically enrol you into Nest pensions after 12 weeks of employment, you are welcome to opt out of this.
