This is a long term temporary role for one year to support a key pilot scheme for a large Government Department - a great opportunity to gain experience in a Public Sector role. We are now looking for 16 people with previous experience in an admin based role, good IT skills and the ability to supervise other team members.

The key purpose of this role is the delivery of Electronic Monitoring (EM) operations for the public sector. As an Executive Officer Operational Caseworker, you will schedule appointments with the EM supplier at various locations across the UK in order to commence, amend, or cease monitoring.

Key responsibilities:
o Management of junior staff within the team, accurately contributing to performance and staff attendance management procedures
o Undertaking daily workflow shift management duties, ensuring prompt and fair allocation of work to team members.
o Scheduling and performing EM case reviews in line with immigration bail policy and making appropriate decisions regarding the commencement, variation, and cessation of EM conditions
o Consideration of representations made by individuals and their legal team regarding the application of EM and providing written responses which set out evidence-based decisions and a person-centered approach in each case
o Coordinating the response to failed EM commencements in line with published guidance and proposing the next course of action subject to the facts of the case.
o Coordinating appropriate response to EM breach activity in line with internal guidance. This may include pursuit of section 24 prosecution action and the preparation of evidence
o Providing decision assurance for junior team members, thus ensuring that relevant immigration policy is consistently adhered to, and that decision escalation is pursued where appropriate
o Supporting senior managers by contributing to the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) processes to ensure accurate and consistent EM decisions
