Job Description

A new opportunity has become available with one of our Clients that works for the Government. They need an Executive Officer (Team Leader), the pay rate is £15.18 an hour, it will be a temporary assignment for approximately 3 months, until the end of March; Monday - Friday; remotely.
The purpose of this role is to support the payroll administrators and payroll manager in all processes within the Payroll Team. Ensuring that payment of salaries, are processed accurately and on time and in line with SLA`s and KPI`s. A key role within the Pay team is to ensure accurate, prompt and efficient payment of remuneration to all staff attached to payroll. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in relation to all processes, which are part of the teams` responsibilities, ensuring current Policies and Procedures are always followed.
Responsibilities
" Support the Payroll Administrators and Payroll Manager to achieve team priorities by the set deadlines.
" Developing strong working knowledge of Acas Pay and HR policies and processes to respond quickly and effectively to a range of pay and reward queries.
" Support with sign off, reconciliations and analyse payroll reports and identify mis matches in data or potential payroll inaccuracies to support the monthly payroll assurance processes. Including running the full payroll and costings when required.
" Produce, analyse, and prepare data on team performance for payroll manager to ensure performance in line with SLA`s and customer service requirements.
" Provide support to MI colleagues with payroll and HR data and reporting requests feeding into wider reporting requirements.
" Building and maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.
" Contributing to the development and implementation of Acas Reward strategy and policies, including annual pay award.
" Support with production with data for audit and with implementation of recommendations.
About You
We are looking for someone who can show these essential criteria:
" Good standard of written and spoken communication.
" Payroll experience
" HR experience (Desirable)
" A strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy of data.
" Excellent organisation skills.
" An ability to build strong relationships to support a team.
" Experience of Microsoft Office and IT skills
