Job Description

Family Support Worker

Location: North Curry, Somerset
Pay: £11.50 p/h + pension and holiday pay

We are looking for incredible and reliable female support workers to monitor Mothers and their babies.

If you have a passion for making a positive change to someone's life, please read on.

They are a parenting assessment centre who provide a short term place of safety to ensure a parent and child remain together while the Local Authority makes care planning arrangements or waits for a Court hearing to determine a child`s future.

If you have worked with children and been involved in their development I would like to hear from you.

Duties will include working with parents and teaching basic childcare. You might also be monitoring activity between parent and child via CCTV and logging your observations. Having worked with parents in the past would also be beneficial. We are looking for people who would like temporary work and happy to pick up 3 shifts minimum a week.

Also due to where this service is located, you need to be a driver. In return we can offer you excellent rates of pay.

For waking nights shifts we pay £11.50 per hour. Ongoing online training and accrued holiday for every hour you work. Also, this is a potential temp to perm job if that is what you are looking for!
