Job Description

Role - Family Support Worker (Waking Nights)
Location - Lillesdon
Salary The current rate of pay is £10.20/£11.22 increasing to £10.41/£11.45
Hours 8.30pm to 9.30am (or 10pm-7am). Available as Full Time / Part Time role

I am recruiting for a Waking Nights Support Worker who is passionate to work with children and support their families.

My client's focus is to achieve positive experiences for the referred family groups placed in a residential centre. Having a great relationship with Local Authorities across the South West they provide exceptional family assessment and support services delivered by a team of motivated, highly competent practitioners.
Consistently drive positive outcomes for residents and child-focussed approach, combined with commitment to continuous improvement, has contributed to the reputation for service excellence.

Are YOU a FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER looking to work as part of a team and undertake family assessments in line with the National Minimum Standards (2013); implementing placement plans for the families to promote positive parenting?
Are you committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people?

Do YOU have:


-Experience of working within a caring environment, or with children within any context (further training will be provided)
-A commitment to safeguarding and protecting children from harm (further training will be provided).
-Excellent written skills including clear handwriting and a sound spelling and grammatical ability.
-A driving license and have access to a car that is fully insured and a valid MOT.
