Bradford

Mental Health

39 hour permanent role (off rota)
£28,392.00

My client is a specialist provider of individually tailored community-based support for individuals with complex mental health conditions, learning disabilities and brain injuries. They believe that no person should remain in an acute or long stay hospital environment for a day longer than is necessary and that everyone, no matter their personal challenges, has the right to lead a healthy, happy life in their own home. They look at each individual's care requirements holistically to ensure that we create a package of care that is tailored specifically to meet their personal and rehabilitation goals.

Main Responsibilities
As a Team Manager you will be required to have proven skills in leadership and management, you will be able to support and develop a team of female Support Workers through supervision, mentoring and practice leadership.
Under the Positive Behaviour Support and Recovery model that underpins our workstreams, you will work collaboratively with the internal and external clinical MDT.
You will have a comprehensive knowledge of how policies and procedures inform your work practices and the ability to write and maintain comprehensive notes, support plans.
You will attend practice workshops with the team that are facilitated by the clinical team.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of working with people with complex mental and behavioural presentations, Learning and Attachment difficulties with at least Level 3 in Health and Social Care and willingness to develop further.

You will have a proven track record in this highly rewarding field, ideally 2-2-1 care, with the skills to deal with multiple and complex needs. You will be able to manage difficult situations calmly and are able to work within agreed evidence based interventions that provide Attachment and Trauma Informed approaches.

You will need to be resilient, emotionally, and physically fit to do this role. Although you will generally work off rota, you would need to have flexibly to cover shifts which would include earlies, lates, sleep ins, weekends, and bank holidays.

To assist with your own professional development; you will be invited to attend a Healthcare Training Programme-

This will consist of several days and includes workshops such has: Psychological Support, Communication Skills and Clinical Interventions to ensure you are supported to develop the skills to meet the holistic needs of a person with complex care needs.
