We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Finance Assistant, to join a local charity in Southport.
You will be responsible for the management of purchase ledger and managing processes for accurate financial coding, of high volumes of invoices.
Hours: 20 per week (between 09:00 & 17:00, Monday - Friday)
£9.09 per hour
Temporary (3 months minimum)
Duties will include:
Contacting suppliers to arrange setting up accounts
Liaise with existing suppliers to manage creditors balances and verify balances to SAGE
Compile and recharge internal journals for various administration costs onto SAGE
Responsible for reconciling regular giving income onto CRM database, including recording lapsed payees and direct debit transfers, on a monthly basis. (HQ)
Manage analyse of Cremation fee audit - ensuring periodic checks of receipts and liaise with funeral directors on any unpaid fees.
Responsible for maintaining and updating restricted spending spreadsheet including Transform, Education and Community Contract spends
Internal Audit - Gift Aid on CRM software & Chariot
Maintain various expenditure spreadsheets including but not limited to Water, Gas, Electric, Telephone
Providing cover at peak times, sickness and absence for various finance duties including but not limited to cashiering, banking, scanning and CRM database, as required.
You must have SAGE experience
Minimum of AAT Level 3 qualification or have proven experience
