Job Description

** Flexible Day and Night Support Worker **
** Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** Must be a driver with manual licence **
** 37.5hrs hours per week **
** £17,550 / £9ph **
** 7am - 3pm or 7am - 1pm or 7am - 2pm / L 2pm - 9pm or 2pm - 10pm or 3pm - 9pm**
** Adults with mild to severe Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy & Autism / complex needs **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for flexible day and night Support Workers who have experience supporting adults with varied and complex learning disabilities. We are working with a residential home based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. We are ideally looking for candidates who can drive and have at least 6 months experience.

The charity that we are partnering with is a nationally recognised charity that has a long history of helping to support people with complex needs such as brain injuries, learning disabilities and autism. They create personalised care plans that are unique to each individual. They are looking for people who share their passion for care and can help them provide a welcoming and happy environment for their residents.

The role will require lots of manual handling and personal care, this mean the role will require you to be able to get involved and help the patients whenever needed. You will be working with adults who have mild to severe Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviours.

Your duties will include:
- Writing reports
- Washing and bathing the service users
- Taking them out to the day centre
- Preparing meals
- Arranging medication
- Getting them ready for the day
- Transporting them to various activities and back
FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN
