A brand new and unique opportunity has arisen for a Fostering Manager to oversee a fostering department for an organisation that seeks to transform the lives of vulnerable Children and Young People.
You will be joining an established organisation that provides specialist support services to Children and Young People in the North West.
As Fostering Manager you will be responsible for supervising a team of social workers and family workers and providing advice and assistance to staff in regard to Safeguarding concerns or issues. Your duties will include investigating complaints and completing management investigations, building effective working relationships with Local Authorities and managing the recruitment , assessment and approval of foster carers.
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate will hold a CQSW qualification and be HCPC registered. You will have atleast 2 years experience supporting Children and Young People at a senior level. You must hold a Full UK Driving License with access to your own car.
This is a full time permanent position with a salary of £40,000 plus excellent benefits including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, health care scheme and learning developments.
