Job Description

A well-established organization is recruiting for Day or Waking Night Support Worker for their 2 bed care home in Truro, Cornwall. You will be supporting 11 - 18 year olds who have Autism and some may display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
- Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
- Personal care maybe required

Qualifying candidates:
- Have experience with 11 - 18 year olds in care OR have a Diploma / NVQ / QCF level 3 in Children & Young People`s Workforce

Contract / Terms (pro rota):
- Salary is £9,068 - £17,684 per annum = £8.72 an hour on weekdays & £11.23 on weekends
- Some locations will require 1 sleep in per week which is paid at £78.30 per sleep
- Contracts available: 20, 30 or 39 hours a week
- Shifts can vary between 8am - 10pm
- 3 month rolling rota
