BS Social Care are proud to be working alongside a leading adult and children's health care provider in their search for a children's head of care.
The organisation is an established local service who have built up a good reputation in the north east who are operating under the umbrella of a large national social care provider.
You will be the registered manager for the residential provision which is on the site of the SEN school which they operate. You will be part of the senior management team of the school and have responsibilities alongside your role such as being the safeguarding lead, or working alongside the safeguarding lead for the education centre.
You will have experience of residential management in children's provision and ideally an understanding of addition and complex needs services. You will have at least relevant level 4 or 5. You will be able to evidence a recent working relationship and in depth knowledge of Ofsted.
As your main duties, you will show leadership in developing the team in the residential to provide excellent care delivery in keeping with Ofsted regulations and the ethos of the organisation which are very clearly laid out win the home.
You will be responsible for practice related supervision, appraisal, development planning, objective setting, coaching and mentoring. You will be responsible for leading the team in providing a safe and secure home which provides a conducive area for the young people to thrive within the home environment and pursue other activities outside the home.
