I am working in conjunction with a leading, recognised local provider of residential, housing and supported living care in the West Midlands to recruit for their new Head Of Care.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive and as a member of the Executive Board, you will be an experienced Social Care leader, with a good awareness of the challenges facing social care organisations and an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environment in which social care is delivered.
You will have significant experience of residential care for older people and/or learning disabilities, as well as great leadership and communication skills so you can support the teams in their journey towards excellence. A formal care management qualification such as the QCF level 5 in leadership and management, excellent strategic management knowledge and experience and an extensive understanding of CQC policies and procedures are essential for the head of care role.
