I am working in conjunction with a leading, recognised local provider of residential, housing and supported living care in the West Midlands to recruit for their new Head Of Care.

You will become a leading member of the senior management team and be employed with a company who are committed to providing care which promotes respect, integrity, positivity and quality.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive and as a member of the Executive Board, you will be an experienced Social Care leader, with a good awareness of the challenges facing social care organisations and an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environment in which social care is delivered.

You will have significant experience of residential care for older people and/or learning disabilities, as well as great leadership and communication skills so you can support the teams in their journey towards excellence. A formal care management qualification such as the QCF level 5 in leadership and management, excellent strategic management knowledge and experience and an extensive understanding of CQC policies and procedures are essential for the head of care role.

This role is offering a fantastic salary of £60,000 per annum, as well as continued training and development, and considerable opportunities for personal and professional growth.
