An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our medium size care home group situated in Denbighshire. We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual to manage the running of a successful nursing, residential and EMH residential care facility. The home is fully compliant with an excellent long-serving team of dedicated carers and has an enviable reputation.
The home is situated in the Vale of Llangollen in a spectacular setting.
All applicants must be able to register with SCW and have completed a Level 5 in Health and Social Care. The role will suit either existing managers or current assistant managers with level 5 accreditation seeking their first post.
You will be fundamental and responsible for the overall running of the day to day operations of the homes. The main aspects of the role will be monitoring care plans, devising and maintaining rotas as well as coaching and mentoring of staff and constructing, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be an effective role model, with a consistent person-centred approach, a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You should be able to prioritise your work load in accordance with the needs of the service and service users.
