Job Description

We are working with a fantastic client who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands, and providing support to vulnerable adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They aim to provide the very best service, and they would love your help in continuing that process.

The client is looking for a full-time Home Ownership Officer to be based in one of the following office locations; Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley, Coventry, South Derbyshire, or Shropshire. You will be based at one of those locations for office work, but you will be expected to travel across the Midlands to meet service users and provide support. You will also be able to work one day from home. For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of £29,355, a car allowance of £1,680, as well as being able to claim mileage, and a very desirable employee package.

As a Home Ownership Officer, you will need to be a driver, have specialist knowledge of managing leasehold and shared ownership homes, great experience liaising with a range of professionals, such as, but not limited to, estate agents, solicitors, maintenance etc.

The Home Ownership Officer's duties will include; the recovery of rent or service charges; stair-casing and resales; leasehold consultations; resolving disputes and queries; RTB and RTA; mobilising the home ownership elements of new development; and other housing management activity such as ASB and lease breaches; be responsible for all aspects of front line housing management of the clients shared ownership and leasehold homes, as well as support the development of processes and working practices.

Interviews for the role will be held on the 25th of April and will entail a written question, having to then present your answer - and then the formal interview.
