We are looking for experienced support workers who are looking for opportunities within the Birmingham area. We have on-going work available with a number of providers that offer supported accommodation for vulnerable adults for a variety of reasons such as mental health, homelessness and substance misuse, to help support them in their recovery and to live more independently, as well as floating support.
Your role will be to help care and support for vulnerable adults in a hostel or outreach setting. You will encourage them to live as independently as possible, help with tenancy, employment advice and arranging appointments.
You have the added benefit of being in control of your own rota as we can offer you shifts based on your availability and can fit round any other commitments you may have.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of six months practical experience within the care sector.
