Job title: Homelessness Floating Support Worker
Location: Bristol
Pay rate: £11.00

We are looking for highly experienced Floating Support Workers in the Bristol area who have worked with:

-Adults with alcohol/drug addictions

-Supporting Adults with Mental Health Issues

-Giving housing related Support, Advice and Assistance

You will be supporting men and women between the ages of 18-60 offering resettlement support to those who are moving into new accommodation.

The aim of the support is to improve mental health and physical wellbeing, including crisis management, facilitating access to other specialist support services and liaising with those services as appropriate. It includes help with managing money, settling into a new community, finding voluntary work or training courses and help to find activities during the day. There is a high level of support in the beginning which will gradually be reduced as they feel their daily routines easier to manage.

What we'll need from you:
- A minimum of 6 month's experience; working with the homeless, adults with drug/aclcohol addictions and mental health complications
- A DBS registered for the Update Service would be a great advantage
- Drivers preferred
