Homelessness Support Worker (Fixed term contract)

Carmarthen

Up to £10 per hour + holiday pay + pension contributions

We are looking for an experienced support worker who is looking for an exciting opportunity in Carmarthen. We have an on-going agreement with a leading charity that provides accommodation for vulnerable adults and young people who are homeless. This is a fixed term contract for several months.

Your role will be to help care and support for vulnerable adults in a hostel setting. You will encourage them to live as independently as possible, help with tenancy, employment advice and arranging appointments.

This role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm for a minimum of 3 months.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 months practical experience in supporting people in a care setting.

Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
