Homelessness Support Worker

Cardiff

Up to £10 per hour + holiday pay + pension contributions

We are looking for an experienced support worker who is looking for an exciting opportunity in Cardiff and in the surrounding areas. We have an on-going agreement with a leading charity that provides accommodation for vulnerable adults and young people who are homeless. There are fixed term contracts and ad hoc shifts available.

Your role will be to help care and support for vulnerable adults in a hostel setting. You will encourage them to live as independently as possible, help with tenancy, employment advice and arranging appointments.

You have the added benefit of being in control of your own rota as shifts are flexible and can fit round any other commitments you may have.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 months practical experience in a similar setting.

Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
