We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Manager to oversee the development and delivery of new housing service for young adults and adults in need of supported accommodation across Barrow!
You will be working for an incredible organisation, at the start of their exciting journey who provide supported housing accommodation for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, who require Intensive support in managing and maintaining a tenancy. Residents may have complex and additional support needs to include but not limited to those with addictions, mental health issues, learning difficulties and offending behaviour.
As the Housing support manager, you will work with the Area Manager, keeping in regular contact with tenants, liaising with external agencies who are referring tenants for accommodation, ensuring all properties are properly maintained, dealing with repairs, supporting tenants to maintain their tenancy, dealing with tenant and neighbour nuisance issues.
The successful candidate must hold relevant experience leading and developing a team in the Supported housing field.
This role is Monday to Friday 9-5 however, you must be flexible to meet the needs of the service and in return for your hard work and dedication you will receive a salary of up to £29,000 plus ongoing training, and qualifications once you successfully complete probation period.
