BS Social Care have an amazing full-time opportunity in the Leeds area for an experienced individual.

The role is Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (37 hours per week) and includes community based floating support. The service provides an accommodation based and floating support for current drug users.

Their ethos is one of harm reduction and it does this by multi agency partnerships. The aim of the scheme is to house and support both Men and Women over the age of 16 safely within the community, who are experiencing housing problems due to drug addiction. This is achieved by providing a high standard of accommodation together with support tailored to each individuals needs.

The ideal candidate will be a car driver, with access to their own vehicle and must have experience with this client group in some capacity, especially dealing with complex needs. You must feel confident lone working in the community and must have experience of housing management. You will also have excellent communication skills.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you have a minimum of 1 years experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities or alternatively 6 months experience with an NVQ in a relevant subject, so please only apply if you meet this criteria.

You will also need to have a DBS on the update service or alternatively be willing to pay £50 for a DBS directly through Brook Street Disclosures, be able to provide 2 years references and also provide eligibility to work in the UK - eg Driving License, Passport and Proof of NI.


The hourly rate will be a generous £9.37 - £10.00 per hour, with Holiday Pay to accrue.
