Housing support service in Kettering. Triage service assisting with housing and accommodation needs.

Part of Community Law Service. Offering triage service relating to housing, tenancy and debt support. Signposting and liaising with external agencies.

People facing role offering advice and support relating to housing and accommodation.
Triage service gathering information on individuals situation then offering advice and guidance. Signposting to other support networks to enable the individual to remain and gain independence.
Working within a team to achieve goals in the community.

Experience in housing and tenancy support.
Good knowledge of benefit systems.
experienced working with individuals who may have substance misuse problems addiction issues, mental health difficulties, learning disabilities.
An emphatic person with good listening skills able to relay valuable information -clear communication skills.
Proactive and responsive. Able to manage potential volatile situations.
Sound knowledge of Word and Excel

Experience working with individuals in mental health/substance misuse/homeless health and social care sector.
Excellent communication skills.
Desired experience working in housing association.


20 hours per week - Day time office hours Monday to Friday.
£10 p/h
Entitlement to pension and holiday pay.
Temporary to Permanent positions.
