Job Description
HR Administrator
Temporary contract FT
WFH role (office in East Kilbride)
£11.13 ph
Brook Street have an exciting opportunity to join their esteemed public sector client on a temporary basis. This is an exciting, fast paced role with no 2 days being the same.
The Role
- Act as the first point of contact for administrative elements of the employee life cycle from new starters to leavers
- Managing the centralised inbox and the centralised phone line to effectively deal with HR queries from employees, managers and external organisations
- Update the HR system with joiners, leavers and contractual changes in advance of the monthly payroll deadline
- Manage the new starter administration process, including preparation of offer letters and contracts of employment,
- Liaising with new joiners, taking up references and security checks and following relevant starter procedures to ensure that all systems are in place prior to a new employee joining
- Manage the leaver process, including all administration surrounding employees leaving the organisation
Skill set required:
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Accuracy, consistency with an attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to be flexible and to be deployed to priority work
- Ability to utilise and be willing to learn various IT systems
- Resilience
- Previous HR or customer service experience
- Good team working and stakeholder engagement skills
- Good working knowledge of MS excel
