Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant - SEN/EBD South London

BS Social Care are recruiting for passionate SEN/EBD Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to work with children and young people within educational settings. You must have a real interest in education and supporting children and young people who need daily support in meeting their goals.

It is vital you arrive with the necessary SEN/EBD experience and academic knowledge for this role.
You will need to have excellent communication skills, resilience, and literacy and numeracy skills and have the ability to deal with challenging behaviour.

You will be working either one to one (1:1) or with small groups and you will be expected to:

o Have the ability to differentiate work according to each child`s individual
needs
o Prepare learning materials under the supervision of the teacher
o Previous SEND experience
o Be a positive role model
o Keep records and attend review meetings
o Work in a classroom setting
o Be able to see beyond a child`s behaviour
o Have a good sense of humour!
