Job Description

** Locality Manager **
** Covering two Luton services **
** Permanent and full time **
** £28,500 **
** Monday - Friday with some additional hours **
** Supported Living working with adults **
** Learning Disabilities, mental health and challenging behaviour **

BS Social Care are recruiting for a Locality Care Manager to manage two supported living services in the Luton area of Bedfordshire. This is a full time and permanent role and will including working alongside 1 Deputy Manager and 25 staff.

About the job; due to a restructure, this is a brand new role. You will work with the Operations and Development Manager and the Deputy Manager to ensure all care is met for the two services. One of the supported living services works with two 30 year old service users with complex behaviour and health, and the other supported living service is working with mild - moderate LD. Both follow the Positive Behavioural Model.

About the ideal candidate; this candidate will hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care at the least, ideally you will also hold a Level 5 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards, you will have good understanding and knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under the Regulated Activity of accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care. You will also hold good knowledge and practical implementation of the Health & Social Care Act. Experience of working at a supervisory level in care/support setting within the last 3 years with the ability to recognize, challenge and remedy bad practice is also a must for this role.
