Locality Manager
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time (37 hours per week)
Site Based
Location: Walthamstow, London
Salary: £34,934 - £39,295 per annum depending on experience


This Scheme is a 24-hour supported living scheme for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, we support people to gain independence and strive to improve individuals` quality of life. Based on a holistic assessment of individual's needs, the scheme works within the framework of Person Centred Care, incorporating Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to manage our scheme.
The service is a 24 hour supported living scheme for people with learning disabilities and complex needs supporting them to maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Based on a holistic assessment of individual's needs, the scheme works within the framework of Person Centred Care, incorporating Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support.
You will be operationally responsible for the management of the schemes and will motivate and develop staff to provide person centred care and support that enables service users to be as independent and self-determining as possible. You will also be responsible for managing the financial and administrative procedures of the schemes and ensuring a high standard of care and support is maintained at all times in accordance with CQC regulations

This Individual will be reporting to the Head of Service Operations you will have overall responsibility for managing and monitoring the scheme and ensuring the delivery of appropriate individualised care and support to service users. It is essential that you have experience managing supported living schemes for older people and a strong working knowledge of the framework of Person Centred Care and Positive Behaviour Support.

You will need to have an NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management and experience of working with Individuals with 55 and over You`ll be passionate about providing quality care and personalised services with the ability to drive improvement within budgetary controls. An understanding and knowledge of the principles of positive behaviour support, relevant legislation and CQC standards will be essential for this role.
" Planning and implementing strategic changes to improve service delivery.
" Overseeing the day-to-day management of our organisation, a specific unit or a service area.
" Implementing new policies and directives.
" Managing the recruitment, selection, appraisal and development of staff;
" Producing care plans and ensuring their effective implementation.
" Need to have Supported Living experience of managing a service
