Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locality manager to work as a supported living provider in Teddington.
They have been supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries and complex needs for more than 30 years. For every individual that we support we ensure that we deliver specifically personalised person-centred support to enable each person to have a happy a fulfilled life.
As a support living provider we provide residential care, extra care, supported living, transition support, positive behaviour support and personalisation. All care is tailored to meet the needs of the individuals to help them develop the abilities they need to move to the next stage in their lives. that we support and intended to improve life skills, strengthen relationships and encourage personal choices.
You will be managing their services across a location including in a residential service as well as outreach in the community.

Requirements:
Level 5 Social care qualification in line with the organisation`s strategic aims or willingness to complete the qualification within a designated time frame.
Good knowledge and practical implementation of CQC regulations.
Ability to recognise, challenge and remedy bad practice.
Experience of working at a supervisory level in care/support setting within the last 3 years.
Ability to set and work to deadlines.
Excellent level of people management skills.
Management skills to maintain the service to a high standard.
Ability to travel independently to various locations across the organisation for training, meetings, cover etc. which may involve overnight stays.
Computer skills in Microsoft office particularly word, excel, outlook and the internet.
Excellent level of organisation skills.
Ability to demonstrate clear communication skills both verbal and written.
Must be flexible and able to carry out on call duties for other local services.

Post is 37.5 hours per week. Salary 30,000.
