Our client, a reputable elderly care provider in the Wiltshire, is looking for a fantastic candidate to join their friendly and small team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will provide the necessary maintenance and support to staff and residents in providing a well maintained and safe living and working environment. You will be responsible for all maintenance paperwork and records.
Main duties are varied and include, the general maintenance of the home both internally and externally. You will maintain fire safety, liaise with the team, decorate, maintain stocks of maintenance materials and manage equipment and appliances.
The perfect candidate will be enthusiastic and friendly with a strong work ethic. They will have a strong awareness and understanding of Health and Safety regulations and risk assessments. They will be a confident communicator as the role involves liaising with contractors and other external suppliers. They will have good written skills as the role involves the maintenance of paperwork.
This role is Monday to Friday, but the perfect candidate must be flexible as there may be some emergency call outs. Call outs are paid at an enhanced rate.
