We have a very exciting opportunity which has arisen for a mental health support worker. This role is working for a well established organisation, a temporary booking with permanent opportunity at the end.

The role of the mental health support worker is supporting 2 service users, they can present challenging behaviour such as self harm but nothing physical. Duties include, monitoring them, helping with personal care, cleaning duties and engaging with these individuals. The role is a on a waking night temporary basis, they do offer occasionally days but you must be flexible to work on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, passionate and hard working. The role can we quite hands on in terms of being there for anything from getting up in the morning to going to sleep at night so needs an individual who can offer this level of care.

You need to have worked within the social care sector for a minimum or 1 year, or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. This role is with immediate start however does have flexibility, if you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you!
