Job Description

BS Social Care are recruiting for a number of well-equipped mental health support workers to support patients in a low secure unit.

The client provides a consistently high standard of individualised and specific, specialised care to their patients. The client is continuing to equip the patients in their care with everyday living skills to resettle and integrate effectively into the community.

The post holder will be expected to follow a rehabilitative model of care which will involve following individual care plans to meet the needs of each person they support.

You will communicate effectively at all times to immediate management and assist the team in planning and implementing patient care as directed to facilitate the well-being, dignity and treatment of all patients.

The post holder will
- Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care, and/or a relevant qualification
- Have at least a year's experience in a challenging mental health environment
- Have self-harm and/or ligature training
- Have a transferable DBS - or willing to pay £50 for a new DBS.

£9 per hour, double pay on all bank holidays, access to help 24/7, 365 days a year from BS Social Care on call support, reward and recognition scheme, potential for permanent roles, a variety of opportunities to build and develop your care experience portfolio.
