Job Description

This organisation is well known for providing support to adults with Mental Health Support Needs and Learning Disabilities within a residential or supported living setting.

BS Social Care have over 20 years' experience in providing temporary and permanent staff to the Health and Social Care sector. We are well known for the positive working relationships we have with both our clients and employees.

This is a full time role as a Mental Health Support Worker based in Wirral. You will supporting adults with Mental Health Support Needs within a residential setting.

The duties will include but are not limited to; general or one to one support, domestic duties, going into the community, budgeting, promoting independence, report writing and following care and support plans. The role may also include administering medication and personal care.

This would be a 39 hour role for day shifts Monday - Friday however this would be subject to change depending on the support needs of the residents.

The ideal candidate will be able to work various shift patterns during the day and will be reliable, calm, empathetic, hard working and dedicated.

To be successful in this role you must have a proven recent background in Health and Social Care or will have an NVQ or QCF Level 2 or above along with the relevant recent experience in a similar role.

The pay rate for this role will be £8.15 per hour and the benefits will include; 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension scheme, childcare vouchers, buy and sell annual leave and the reward hub.

This role is a temporary to permanent opportunity which means that you will be temping for a certain number of weeks through BS Social Care and if you complete a satisfactory probationary period you will go permanent with the organisation.
