** Mental Health Support Workers ****
** Nuneaton, Warwickshire **
** Community based home catering for adults with challenging behaviour **
** A minimum of 6 months experience working with adults with challenging behaviour **
** £17,528 per year **
** Rotational shift **
** Ongoing training, pension, 20 days plus 8 bank holidays annual leave **

A fantastic opportunity for experienced support workers to join a well-established mental health and learning disability service in the Warwickshire area!

The service users have a learning disability and either a mental illness and/or challenging behaviour. Due to the nature of the home, experience within this sector is crucial. Through a Key Worker system you will help support service users with their day to day basic needs including social engagement. Most of the service users are independent so personal care in part of the job however you will have to prompt and encourage the service user to be more independent.

As a Support Worker you must be an approachable, hardworking individual with a passion for care.
You must be able to personally contribute towards a happy and therapeutic environment of the service users.
