Job Description

On behalf of a nationally recognised charitable provider, who specialises in the field of domestic violence, I am actively recruiting for a Networking and Development Officer on 12 month fixed term contract, covering maternity.

You will work closely within the teams across Coventry and Leicestershire to effectively highlight the support provided by your organisation and secure funding for additional growth and development. You will review applications, deliver on policies and procedures and be involved in the bid and tender process for additional funding and support.

Fundraising, networking and liaising with key stakeholders will all form part of your role.

It is therefore vital, that you have an understanding of domestic violence and the many forms it can take. You will also have an understanding of diverse cultures and religious beliefs, and although not essential, the ability to communicate via an alternative language such a Urdu, Gujarati, Hindi or Punjabi would be beneficial.

As Networking and development officer, it is essential that you have a good eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and are confident in communicating and presenting ideas and outcomes.

You will be passionate, motivated and extremely driven to secure the best outcomes for your team and the people you support. When challenged, you will be able to push back in a professional manner and provide resolutions to problems.

To be considered for this exciting role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as travel is an essential requirement of your role. A formal qualification in health and social care or project management would be preferred, whilst knowledge and experience within the domestic violence field is essential.

In return, you will receive a generous salary up to £29000 D.O.E, continued training and development, access to a company pension scheme and other healthcare benefits.

For immediate consideration, please apply online today or forward your CV via email.
