Night Care Assistant

£9 per hour

Our client, a reputable elderly care provider in the Wiltshire area, is looking for a fantastic candidate to join their friendly and small team. As a Night Care Assistant, you will be required to provide wakeful night cover in the home. You will meet the personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. You will show empathy and understanding towards all residents.

You will work 33.75 hours per week, spread over 3 night shifts. The pay is £9 per hour and the annual salary calculates at £15,795.

Your main duties will include:

Undertaking personal care duties as required for service users including toileting, washing, feeding, moving and handling. This will include preparing residents for bed and assisting them in the morning. You will support service users in a way that maintains dignity and privacy, choice and independence. You will participate in record keeping, through brief written recording on individual case files. This will include basic care planning, reviews and reports. You will participate in organised activities, to meet service users' needs; this will include excursions from the establishment, some basic food preparation and domestic tasks; one to one activities and group sessions.
