Job Description

** Night Care Assistant **
** Wellingborough, Northamptonshire **
** £17,996 - £22,938 / £8.24ph - £10.50ph - depending on qualifications **
** Permanent and full time working 42 hours per week of 7.30pm - 7.30am**
** Week 1; Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun / Week 2; Wed and Thurs **
** Providing nursing care for people with dementia or a mental illness **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Night Care Assistant within the Wellingborough area of Northamptonshire. This role is a full and permanent role working with a small well established care organisation proving care for adults with Dementia and mental health issues. You will work a 2 week rolling rota of nights which consist of 7.30pm - 7.30am; 5 nights on your first week and 2 on your second. This role consists of working closely with your Nurses in charge, your Senior Night Care Assistant, your team members and your service users to ensure the best possible care is provided for your service users.

About the job; a summary of the role includes supporting the Registered Nurses and Senior Care Assistant by acting under the direction of the Registered Nurses and Senior Care Assistant, ensuring that care of the highest standard is delivered to all residents, by assisting in the delivery and recording of care, by acting as a Key Worker for a number of named residents, by assisting in ensuring the house is clean and hygienic and by assisting in ensuring personal clothing and linen is laundered to highest standard.

About the ideal candidate; it is ideal that you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care, however, it is not essential as all training will be provided. It would also be ideal that you hold at least 1 yrs experience working with Dementia and mental health issues. Ideally, you will be a driver as the house is located in rural area and public transport cannot always be relied on. Should you have a dedicated person who can drop you off and pick you up that is fine.

A salary of £17,996 - £22,938 which works out to be £8.24ph - £10.50ph depending on qualifications...
